Let Familys be What They Will

My take on the researching topic of the modern day family is slightly emerging to one side. Yes, it is good to be like a "traditional" family and communicate all the time, but i think it is more important to progress and change the picture of what a family is and should be. There was a time a while back that your family had a say in who you married, and almost everything you did as a youngster. Times changed and then children started getting more freedoms from their parents. Now many kids have all these freedoms like hanging out at the mall, having a cell phone, and being with friends mostly whenever they want. Not all family's eat dinner and talk every night, but some do. It is just something that we the people need to respect. Things do change and the definition of the modern family will soon change as well. But i do like the fact that everything is constantly changing. It mixes things up and makes it interesting. Parents still should know where there kids are and what they are doing, however. It is not right to ignore your parents and go off to do your own thing without letting them know. Parents do need to accept the fact that things do change and they cant control the future. I am clearly more toward the modern family progression side, but i do also have a bit of arguments for trying to regulate the modern family with morality.
